I’m a wife and homemaker who loves to cook, bake, and experiment with mixing recipes to create a new version that suits my taste. I love working with my hands, to create and turn mundane things into something wonderful. Most of all, I aim to be a good steward of everything that God is giving me.
A Christian by choice, I’m a firm believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I want my life to give glory to His Name. It is to Him that I dedicate this site.
If you ever wonder what I meant when I said “I’m a Christian by choice”, let me share with you that being a Christian is a decision to make. I made that decision some time in 2002 and I tell you it was the BEST decision I ever made and there was no turning back for me after that.
From that time on, I was never the same. It was as if I was lifted up from the darkest pit into the light. I found true freedom and experienced true joy that even when I’m in the midst of trouble, I’d have peace and joy because I now know I’m not alone, I know who holds me, and I now know that whatever happens I’ll be okay because it is God who is with me and who holds me in the palm of His hand.
When this life is over, I know for sure that I will be with Him in heaven because I trust not in my own self for my salvation, but in Jesus Christ alone… I trust that Jesus died for me so I will be with Him when I die.
I hope you too will make this decision to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and I tell you, just like me, you will never be the same again.
If you decide TODAY to accept Jesus, just pause for a moment and say a heartfelt prayer to tell Jesus that…
- You believe in Him when He died for you so you will be saved from eternal damnation (hell) and you can go to heaven.
- Accept that you are a sinner and that you need Him to save you because you can never save yourself by your good works.
- Tell Him that you are sorry for sinning against Him and that you repent.
- Ask Him to live in you, and to lead and guide you as you live your life everyday.
- Ask Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life from now on.
It’s as simple as that. No magical thing will happen, but I tell you… the moment you sincerely pray to Jesus to ask Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life, a magical thing in heaven happens. You become a child of God.
You might wonder how I know all these things? Am I just inventing them? Nope. I learned all these things from the BIBLE… the very Word of God. If you want to learn too what I’m learning, I encourage you to go ahead and read the Bible. I guarantee you, it will truly change your life… for the better! 🙂
